I don’t much about the actual x’s and Os of basketball but are we looking to eventually have the ball originate in Zion’s hands a majority of the time?

It looks like we want to be able to get him out into tradition and let him come in with a head full of steam.

But I also Think they incision him and Hayes/Favors running the pick and roll. Something he was very good at in college.

Are his guard skills good enough to do this in the NBA?

I feel like he’s going to be a better shooter than people are giving him credit for right now.

I think his Shot just needs time in the gym. He clearly wasn’t ready to play BB in his summer league debuts. But his shooting numbers only got better at Duke

He’s never going to be Curry or Harden but he’ll be respectable.

Depends on Ball.

If Ball can develop a semblance of a jump shot and free throw shot, then he will be our main ball handler for years.

If he doesnt develop though, I can see them wanting Zion in a Draymond/Blake type role

I think he’ll be decent from the corner when he’s wide open, but he’s going to need to work on speeding that shot up. It would also help if he could get his form to be a little more fluid

I think the ultimate goal is to have Zion be an every position type of player. One like Lebron or Giannis that can play any position on the court including center or point guard if that’s where he is most needed for the win.

Griff said Zion sees himself as a "supercharged Draymond". Which is in line with a player that will do whatever it takes to win.

Refreshing after having a petulant child who "hated" playing the position that was best for the team.

His shot is way too slow right now. It's going to get blocked often until he speeds up his release
