This is probably a really stupid question or not, I have no clue but would this be possible?

My GUESS is no but I honestly don't have a clue.

There will likely be expanded rosters, at least for the training camp portion.

International travel isn’t allowed.

why would you want anyone to play who could not make the varsity during reg season.

playoffs start now .

its not just, can pels stay within 3.5 of memphis. probably can.
its can pels beat out portland with their starters back,
and can pels beat out Sacramento who have the easiest schedule.

if tied for 8th with portland pels would finish 9th to portland by % and need two wins.

Nope. NBA players will have waivers.

Andrew Lopez was asked if Didi can come to camp and tweeted this reply:

No. Pelicans would have to sign him to join the roster and as @wojespn has reported - only players eligible to sign are ones who played this season. So no international guys.

There will reportedly be a specific pool of players that can play.
