Who did the Pixies Where Is My Mind cover during the Brees pregame interview?

Probably Nada Surf. Their version turned me on the The Pixies original version, which, when I re-listened to it, reminded me of Snorkel's in Tigerland. I remember that song from college.
But, I only got into the Pixies recording of this a few months ago. It is a gem of a garage-sounding recording. There's so much depth that can only be discovered by hearing it over and over. It's fantastic.

I can hear the similarity if I'm listening for it, but I wouldn't have thought that was a cover.
