Firestick or Apple TV

I just spent an hour creating a VPN, creating a new amazon account, back-channeled the BBC iPlayer app on firestick, and after all of that, it didn’t work. Got all the way to Peaky Blinders 5, hit play, and it wouldn’t play.

Any tips?

It shouldn't be that complicated. Just go on netflix, search for it, and click play.

If you trust your VPN, pirate it? Or Download the Kodi app on your firestick to stream it.

About to check that out right now.

ETA: I just did a search on both my Firestick, and in another room on a smart TV .... for Kodi.

Nothing.

There is a Kodi app in the Google Play store that I am downloading on my Tab A. Can't tell if there is one in the Apple Play store because, for some reason, I am not connecting to that store on my iPad tonight. Wait, there it goes .... doesn't look like the same thing on Apple. Looks more like some entertainment center interface or remotes or something.

Kodi allows you to stream copyrighted material (basically all tv shows/movies) so the app wont appear in google play. You have to download it manually. Goigle will help with this. Just make sure you have a vpn.

This LINK may help.

I used Kodi without a VPN when I lived in the U.s. and never had a problem with my service provider but they may be cracking down.

Now I just use Opera since it has a free VPN and d/l torrents.

That’s like 2 weeks away. You can’t expect the OP to wait 2 whole weeks. What kind of monster are you?

Not sure why you’re having problems. I used a VPN to get a UK server. Go to the BBC One website, create a user account, watch the show on iplayer with my phone. Can also mirror on screen with Apple TV.

I've been watching on the CinemaHD app. If you open it through MX player you can get subtitles too. Works perfectly

How to install CinemaHD on Firestick

Install MX player (how to get subtitles)

Why would netflix not have it anymore? They slapped original series title on it

Does it come out in the UK first, then to netflix..or in this instance with S5, did they put the shaft to netflix all together?

This. They run an episode every week on BBC then when it's finished Netflix brings it over. I think it's always been that way
