Here are today’s free throw numbers. Teams were a combined 190-303. That’s a very mediocre 62%. Worst day yet.

Thursday: 69%
friday: 68%
Sat: 62%

seems pretty low.

I’ve always thought of college players as terrible free throw shooters.

Athletes are too used to getting free shite so they take free throws for granted. Time to raise the stakes..

Last year the first Saturday games went 217/296, 73%. So it's lower but not by a ton.

idk, 73% is significantly higher than 62%, statistically speaking.

Lonzo should watch the tape of all 303.

Maybe he'll learn something.

I wonder if they can separate that from the bigs and the non bigs.

Our bigs at Bama are horrible.

I know at my HS in a small town of 12500 a bunch come to a gym I attend to play pick up hoops. lately only 2 kids have shown up and they are both Caucasian and spent time on their FT's. This HS won a state title this year and they shot around 52% from the FT in the title game.

I'd also be curious as to the comparison in venues. Are we seeing lower FT shooting percentages in a venue where sight lines can really frick with you? We saw the overall shooting percentage in 2012 with a lot of the domes take a hit.

62% from the line is still pretty lame.
