Most convenient - Carmax

Most money in your pocket - Craigslist or Autotrader

Depends on how much you want a few extra thousand in your pocket.

I was going to say the same. The Highlanders are pretty popular. I listed an civic on Craigslist a few years back and a used car dealer contacted me and paid cash for it.

buy a used tail light if you can off of ebay etc. They will try to dock you 3x what it is worth retail. My wife just traded in a 2015 XLE with 32,000 miles and was given $27,XXX.

CarMax maybe your best bet. Only thing about selling a vehicle worth this much yourself is financing. I guarantee you will be asked if you can finance the vehicle for them because they don't have credit.

This shite makes me laugh. I buy , fix, and sell vehicles privately as just sort of a hobby since I retired, I never have more than one or two to sell at a time and most of them are in the sub $5K range and I've found that FB is a great way to sell these cars. Lots of local groups full of people looking for decent vehicles for decent prices, but it never fails, you can have some junker that you bought for $500 put a couple hundred in and are asking $1200 and you will always have people who will A) ask you to sell it for half of what you are asking and B) people who will ask you if you can do payments because they only have $100 and they need a break.

Dude, I made a deal with the bank, they don't fix cars, and I don't lend money.

Yeah with 3 vehicles, you can sell the highlander. Holds good value, but not forever so if you are done with it cash out now.

How much are you wanting? I've been looking at newer Highlanders but could be interested.

I have been shopping that exact year of highlander. I have been using cargurus to kind of eyeball what I should look to pay for it.

Why not just put it out in a public view with a for sale sign and price? It’s a popular car and should sell easily.

Go get price from Carmax, then Carvana. Depending on their inventory price will vary. Damage may be issue, if you can repair without claim that will help $. If claim made lowers value.

From there you can decide to sell yourself or sell to box store. You’ve got a week so if you want to take a stab at selling yourself you can list on Facebook or local ads. I personally just sold to Carmax and it could not have been easier.

Given that 2 people in this thread would consider looking at your car today I would say sell it as an individual would be best. Be warned that Craigslist posting invite a lot of garbage and scam attempts through email/calls. However you could probably just park the car by the road with for sale and get it done.

I would certainly stop and look at it if it were parked at Albertson's on Airline/Highland where people park cars for sale for whatever reason.
