" The 2009 Texas Bowl saw the Missouri Tigers face off against the Navy Midshipmen on New Year’s Eve at Reliant Stadium. After the Tigers jumped out to an early lead, the Mids came back strong under the guidance of quarterback and Texas Bowl MVP Ricky Dobbs. Navy earned their first bowl victory since 2005 by a final score of 35-13."
I hope we have a better showing this time !

I'm betting Navy won't even show up this year.
The cowards.
The cowards.

LoL...I'm hoping that Texas won't "show up" !
If we can beat the Longhorns, we get our bowl record up to .500 as we're currently 15-16.

Well well....
"Jefferson would be considered a solid draft pick option at linebacker in the event he decides to leave Texas a year early to pursue a chance to play in the NFL. How this injury might impact that decision is nothing but speculation. However, players deciding to take to the NFL Draft the following spring have increasingly made the trendy decision to forgo their senior season and skip the bowl game when injuries play a factor. If Jefferson is to go to the NFL, it would not be a stunner to see him decide to skip out on the bowl game as well.
Jefferson is Texas’ leader in tackles this season with 110, including 79 solo tackles."
Texas Tackle Leader Out ?

Here's another bit of good news,
" Texas Bowl: Texas vs. Missouri ESPN 9 p.m. — Pac-12"
Pac 12 refs ! I just assumed they'd let Texas bring a Big12 crew , LOL.

PAC 12 officials are the worst in the land! Even though we’re in Texas, and playing Texas, I’d rather have Big 12 officials instead of PAC 12 wannabes!

Texas is not a particularly good matchup for Mizzou. Having said that, if we can complete a few shots down the field and get the lead....

Oh, I ain’t kidding myself. If they can hold Okie down, they can hold us down. I’m just hoping we thrash them! Especially with some of their better defensive players not playing.

According to ESPN's bowl matchups page we're the home team.
No ugly pumpkin puke orange jerseys this time.
The stars are aligning !

Oh Lord, fine Christians that we are, we don't want the Texas players to be injured...but could you please smite all them all with an acute case of the drizzling shits right at kickoff time?
Thanks in advance

Unless it’s a playoff or New Years 6 game, bowl games don’t matter that much

Oh, the powers that be in the Big12 will watch this score. Thats why its important that skull rape them.

Bill Self will have a good angry cry that’s for sure. Even if it is for Texas.
