So nothing about him as a coach?

He is a quitter that couldn't hack it in Colorado Springs. If you want that bitch as the face of the program, so be it.

Nuke won’t be happy until we make the most boring hire in the history of the sport.

Thankfully, Sterk is trending away from that. He knows this program needs a serious injection of some energy

So you judge him based on a when he was 18 and not what he’s done as a coach. Interesting philosophy.

I don't have a problem with him and knew all along who he played for. His offense is practically identical to what they run at Wake. I'm fricking with Jesus.

The Scuba Steve thing was retarded but whatever

Healy is solid. He follows the same recruiting discipline Clawson does. They go after kids on teams that win state championships. May not have all the measurables but they are used to winning. Coach em up and play clean ball.

The Hire is Will Healy

He has the highest ceiling of any coach on the board.

He can recruit his arse off, having top classes at austin peay, with his last as top class in fcs.

Did a tremendous job at Charlotte, getting them to a bowl.

And it looks like he and Coach from Lutheran North already have a relationship. He was in his office today i believe.

In my opinion, Will Healy would be home run hire, with the worst being the program is in pinkel territory. I think this guy can take program to that level right above what pinkel did, and possibly that next one, to be a contender for East every couple seasons. Even with Florida/Georgia/Tenn being back.

Healy is the coach that we’ve heard about with the highest bust potential as well.

2 years at Austin Peay and 1 at UNCC. In SEC terms that's very little experience, and Sterk says high-level experience is his number one criteria. It doesn't seem likely. I doubt we have to compete with any other P5 programs for him. Seems like a reach for sure, but I don't know what candidates are saying to Sterk.

Then who is it and why taking so long?

Not to be too large a wet blanket, but everyone knows Sterks only 2 football coach hires were pretty much disasters right?

I'm not saying he is the hire but what he is doing translates to success. Its exactly how Clawson has built Wake Forest.

Rocky Long was a pretty good hire.
