He embodies every negative stereotype about State fans; fat, angry, and a red neck. He cusses like a 12 year old who’s trying to impress his older brother’s friends.

I accidentally came across Dave’s pizza reviews recently and started watching the show—it’s fricking hilarious. Brandon does a good job and has become one of my favorites on the show.

Don't know enough about him but he seems somewhat objective when it comes to State.

Have you followed him since his State beat writer days? The dude was probably the best guy for MSU analysis on all things Football and Basketball and his MSU podcasts especially with SEC Country was the only thing keeping that thing afloat.
He now gets a pretty substantial job and all he has to do is cuss and have a combination of playing a role and being himself to get paid? And his national CFB Podcast is pretty good.
I'm personally proud of him. And honestly I hate it for him that the Men's Basketball season ended because that's his, and my favorite sport at MSU. Really would love Barstool to get him on a National College Basketball Podcast during the 1st half of the football offseason, he'd excel.
I will admit I wasn't a Barstool guy before he went there, not sure I consider myself one still. But unlike some media that hide their agenda, they are pretty real about reality. And I enjoy that as being blunt.

I even have listened to some of his basement talks and find some of it worthy and that crap is junk.
His, "Unnecessary Roughness" is must listen every week for me. He certainly knows more about sports than most and he knows Mississippi State backwards and forwards. Is he right all the time? Hell no, but he does always seem to be entertaining and brings some info.
But... I can most certainly see how he isn't everyone's cup of tea. His act is a bit childish but no more so that Stephen A's or Cowherd's or any of the top sports radio personalites. They all have a "HOOK" and Brandon plays his as well as anyone. That Hook only gets them so far, they have to bring info and insight or they don't stay.

Brandon Walker stock is absolutely skyrocketing at Barstool. He's on every other show and everybody loves him. He's really informed and mostly objective too. Brandon fricking Walker is great.

Yeah I can’t get how anyone doesn't like Walker. And unlike most people in sports journalism, he would snap someone like a twig if they frick with him.

deep down even most OM fans can admit his pod is one of the best in Barstool. If he was an Ole Miss fan I would still feel the same

BFW is must listen every week on Unnecessary Roughness. I have not tuned to many other of his work there other than "Morning Sunshine" and his basement talks.
Morning Sunshine is meant to be funny and cute with overacting and it's not great but ...

I did not know basketball was his favorite. Interesting
He got his shot out of a pure chance of being at the wrong place at the right time. Everyone expected his barstool stint to end after his one year contract ran out. Dave only hired him out spite for his employer. He took that shot by the horns and now is one of the biggest personalities on Barstool.
Does he curse too much? Yes. Is he informed about college football and delivers an entertaining show? Absolutely
I hope the guy continues to rise myself.
