That was a well-conceived play executed at the perfect time and it put Tulane in position to win the game.

I'm glad to see McMillan doing so well.

Glad he won the game. That being said, that guy is wildly inaccurate.

I kind of fall I to this camp. shite like this is going to lead to injuries when defenses start drilling a relaxed offense.

If they want it to be followed they should write it down

Unlike baseball football doesn't have unwritten rules. I like the Marino version better.

Exactly. Just wait til they're in an actual victory formation (not just pretending to take it into OT) and the defense comes full speed trying to cause havoc and a fumble. Someone gonna get hurt or a fight will break out

This is BS. Watch the Gif, the defense isn't exactly just sitting around during the play.

I called this in a youth league and pissed a lot of people off. Granted we were winning by 14 at the time. But I still thought the purpose of playing on offense was the score and play 60 minute football.

He did make some throws where he wasn't anywhere near the receiver but that first touchdown pass was nicely positioned.

What a crap coach you are.

Faking the knee with the score tied like Tulane did isn't bad sportsmanship at all.

That formation is designed to handle a defense that is trying to do that. Granted, up multiple scores is different. But if you are within a single score the defense should be pressing and the offense should be ready.

There are so few opportunities to run that play. How often are you in the victory formation when you either haven’t sealed the victory or need it to set up another play?

It was a great play call but would rarely be useful.

People aren't really thinking it through.

I told my son that JM was probably throwing to the other receiver on that TD pass
