I think LSU's Gold jerseys could be the best in college basketball. They absolutely pop. I have no idea why we never wear them. Kentucky will be wearing Blue, it's a perfect opportunity.

We should wear gold for every home game! The whites need to be changed to something cleaner so they're a different design than the purple and gold uniforms. That way when we wear them, it's more of an occasion.
Like when the Lakers wear white at home on Sundays.

Used to be that the team would get to wear Gold when they won, it’s more of a reward based system.
Seeing we lost the last game, we should not be rewarded with gold jerseys.
Beat UK, get to wear Gold, simple as that.

Personally I like both the gold and white uniforms. I wish we'd wear the golds more often. That said, I don't like bringing out a "special" uniform just for Kentucky. Even though we ALL know it is a big game and that they are heads and shoulders historically the best program in SEC history, I don't like the sense of giving them some sort of undue credit by wearing a special uniform when we play them.
F them! LSU won the SEC last year, not UK. And with a win tomorrow LSU would be back in 1st place (tied) AHEAD of UK. I prefer the attitude of "We're not going to put you on some sort of pedestal by breaking out an alternative uniform just for when we play you. We intend to kick your arse just like you were any other opponent on the schedule."

Don't know if we even have a gold uni anymore. When is the last time we've worn them? Several years, I think.
And I hope the purples get a redesign. There's no white in there at all and they look like practice uni's.

LSU Basketballs marketing and decision making teams are horrible. Why we never wear gold is mind boggling to me. Also, handing out gold shirts to the student section every game would make that area of the arena pop every game. I understand the students haven’t been very energetic or into it but the school does a horrible job of creating an energetic environment for basketball

Would LOVE to see us go retro with the jerseys from the 1980-81 season with "Louisiana State" written across the front. Gold jerseys for LSU really do "pop" and so does our team when we wear them.

I like the white jerseys a lot. I just think we should rotate the gold some. Not an all the time thing, but 3-4 times a year.
