We are like that girl at school that everybody liked but wasn’t that cute, and then over the summer our chest grew and we got a new hairdo. Now, everyone wants a piece.. No reason we can’t pull some studs

There’s been a ton of these thread recently... it’s too late for this years class, Nussmeier or Caleb Williams are our guys for next year

QBs are tough to get in on late. We have what we have. We are after big names in next years class and beyond.

Just because everyone wants a piece doesn’t mean you throw your loyal boyfriend(s) to the curb. Don’t be a ho. Stick with the guy(s) who loved you when you weren’t as cute and if you're lucky they’ll blossom just as you did.

I’m sorry is signing day tomorrow? You swing for the fences each and every day. LSU coaches and current recruits should be in the ear of every 4-5 star QB they can talk too.

Need I remind u of Ed O offering Tua shortly after being named head coach with Myles Brennan already on board.. we need the big fish.. if burrow stays healthy and leads us to playoffs he’ll have 4,000 yards passing and close to 40 TDS.. think about that for a week

Would you have considered Joe Burrow a "big fish" coming out of high school? Or did he develop into one?

Joe was the 280th ranked player and 8th dual threat Qb.

The only QB in this class I would try to get is Dj from California that’s going to Clemson. Ride with what we got and get the studs in 2020

Nope. I think it’s pretty good as is.

Just like that girl in school, you don't give it away for free and open up for everybody.
- We'll stay in contact with they guys we like, including DJ

Now that you got it, you don't give it away for free. They gotta work for it.
- If their interested the likes of DJ will respond accordingly, and we'll match their level of interest.

Yeah, if that chest finally fills out, flaunt it.
- We are, every week so far. Those other boys are looking; sometimes staring. If they want to make a move, we'll listen.

I doubt we take 2 qbs in back to back years but any combo of Nussmeier, Williams and the kid from north shore would be a hell of a class.

Burrow essentially was developed under CUM at OSU. LSU don't develop him. How many qbs developed at LSU?

Well his stats at LSU have significantly improved year to year so far, so that's interesting.

So his massive improvement from his JR to SR year were from a coach who hasn't coached him in 20 months?

Joe Burrow's junior and senior year stats combined from high school:

468/652 (72%), 8,177 yards, 110 TDs and 9 INTs.

and sprinkled in 219 carries for 1,231 yards (5.6 YPC) and 14 TDs.

People need to stop crediting people more than Joe Burrow himself. He's been a badass his entire life and was just criminally underrated in high school. He had an average year last year because he was in a new offense that did things he had never done before with teammates he didn't know.
