LSU was recruiting him pretty hard. Could we have a spot for him?

Possibly. As highly regarded as Pickering is, surely the Tigers would still keep an eye on him.

They got their arse handed to them by a team they were supposed to beat handily. Cinderella heard the clock strike midnight against UK.

I don't think his heart was ever in that commitment. Many experts thought he was about to commit to us before he committed to State. I think his family wanted him at state more than he wanted it.

At one time he was a silent commit to LSU. That was a decision made without his parents however and he committed to MSU soon after. I'm not sure what the dynamic is with his parents, but I have read that LSU is not letting up on him.

You bump someone from the class to get him a spot if need be. Kid will be a star at the next level.

If either of them really wanted him, he would've committed there. It's extremely rare that Moo St. out recruits either of those two schools.

You don't keep up with recruiting very much do you?
Mississippi recruits Mississippi very well and it is rare when top MS recruits head out of state. Neither GA or AL schools recruit MS very well.
