Anyone been and have a story to tell? Have a lesson that was gifted but never heard anything about them. Could use in Metairie too. Thoughts and comments welcome

I’ve been to BR and am in the process of getting some things worked out in my swing.
Rob Murphy is good, I’d request him if possible.

My only problem with golftec is you hit off of mats 100% of the time since it's an indoor-only facility.

I wonder who the best instructor is over there?

I actually popped in there a couple of days ago just to see what it was all about and it seemed pretty legit, one of the instructors gave me a tour of the facility.

Looks like they only have one actual PGA Certified instructor on staff.

Is this one of those swing analytics tests where they put the sensors on you?

Been to GolfTec in Baton Rouge multiple times. Cool place. Like another poster said, Rob Murphy is a really good guy and knows what he’s doing.

Agreed with what everyone else said. I took a plan of lessons with Rob Murphy over there and he is legit. Got my swing looking much better and consistent, and he gave me knowledge to realize why I was inconsistent with my hitting.
Everything is video'd so you can see exactly what you are doing and he can show why you are not hitting it well. I would recommend.

They don’t do short game and that’s 75 percent of golf. Truth be told it’s impossible to get a quality lesson in baton rogue, always has been. Go
See Brian Manzella in New Orleans
He is by far the best in the state! Rob Murphy is a great club fitter!

I had a 10 package lesson with Rob. He is a good instructor. Great personality and seems like he gives a shite about the lesson.

I will say this....u will not see huge changes overnight. The lessons will give you things to think about and work on. It made me enjoy the game of golf Again. Which is what I was looking for.

I did start to play better....and have shot some of my best rounds to date after the lessons.

Most definitely ask for Rob.

Golf digest best in state had one of their guys listed but I see he moved on to Chicago to teach. Rob is by far the best there but a lesson outside off grass is always far superior because you don’t play golf
Indoors and those simulators guess at a lot
Of numbers.

You talking about Ryan?

That's the guy who booked the most lessons in a year simply because Rob quit and he was by himself and took on his lessons too at the same time the flood happened and lots of people wanted the indoor practice while half the area's courses were closed. It wasn't because he was good at anything. Then he got fired for trading lessons for LSU perks.
