Merk? alot of guys on 247 feel the same way. his throwing motion and mechanics already seem to be in place and the offense is similar to Napier's already.
but they do like the idea of a 5* committing this early. it sets the tone for the rest of the class.

I haven’t watched tape of either and don’t care to, however, give me the better passer. If they are close in passing, give me the more athletic kid.

On the Lagway v Merk decision, think we like them both & there's a reason Lagway just moved his decision date up to next month

everyone was worried about the "bump class" (2023), but 2024 might be even better. i'm hoping if we get him, it'll be a domenio effect. not sure about the other skill positions, yet. don't even know who we're looking at.

I think with NIL and the portal that a lot of the old frameworks for recruiting timeline expectations will shift.
Add in conference re-alignment and expanded playoffs and the CFB landscape is going to be totally different by 2030.
