Nueter Damsel and AU look ripe for losses this weekend and both are above us in rankings...and if USC can upset Utah on Friday night at home it gets rid of team right behind us at # 10.

We could be ranked #7 after weekend with a W. High cotton is where we want to be...forget the issues...we are winning and I expect us to beat AU & LsU. Hang on for the ride.

The A&M vs AU is interesting, the last 7 meetings the visiting team has won 6 out of 7 games. Lets hope that changes and AU goes down...Jawja takes care of Nueter Dame.

Rankings don’t mean much and do we really think uf is legitimately top 10 at this juncture?

Depends on the offense.

Certainly not on defense without the offense making first downs.

Functioning offense: Probably can hang with most teams in the country.

Non-functioning offense: Probably could lose to most teams in the country just as well as win.

I base my optimism on the mental makeup of the team and the conditioning. All we have to do is stay somewhat close til late in games. We might have to use bailing wire, duct tape and glue...but we have the talent to win.

WRs are super talented stretch defenses, RBs are capable, OL is the question mark but should improve with more snaps and I think we will see subs coming in for the starters on the OL to find the right mix.

QB play only has to avoid turnovers to be successful, just make the average throws and move chains until Mullen comes up with a trick play.

Defense will keep us in games and as long as they continue getting turnovers we should keep winning. Color me still on the 11-1 or 10-2 train, with a L coming against either S Carolina or Mizzou. We will beat Jawja and get media love. Its coming.

This is a flawed team that finds a way to win. A lot of similarities to the 2006 team.

If we beat UT that's three P5 wins.

I'll take it. I will stand by the argument that UK is a very good team, and I think they prove that this weekend vs Miss State.

Well keep in mind we started out last year unranked due to awful 2017 season. Ended up top ten.

The higher ranked we are means an L isn't going to drop us as far, so there's that.

Sure rankings don't mean much now but read above and see why it is important. Coach Mullen wants to win championships and that's what fans want also. We need to show recruits that we are ascending....and hardware is coming. One recruit we need badly is S Avantae Williams (sp) who is close to Dionte our WR from Deland. AW could be the answer for our safety position.

Our tail follower went down last night in a good game, USCw took it to Utah. What a flag fest though...15 flags in the first half alone. This game was an upset but I felt the condoms would win for Helton. They had to use their third string QB for most of the game and he played well. Utes played dirty and their # 99 guy is an islander who is probably kept in a cage until game time.

Unfortunately lsu gets alot of praise because they went to Texas and won but that may change after Okie state beats Texas also

Utah state will give the cajuns a game maybe there toughest of the season till they start sec play in October

We had another trailer behind us lose badly...Meatchicken got steam rolled by Wisky and were ranked 12th. So # 10 and 12 went down.

The AP poll is out and we didn't move...still at 9th, because Wisky jumped from 13th to 8th. Neuter Dame only dropped 2 spots down to 10th after losing to UGA and only rushing for 46 yds. and that damn beatch Andrea Adelson who likes to slobber on the girls school knob, had the audacity to write a paragraph about our run game being a problem after NDs futile effort.

Unfortunately ND mostly plays sisters of the blind schools til end of the season...they play Viginia at home as one of their toughest games.

I'd like to see us use some of the Gus strategy he used vs the Aggies soon. He knew he couldn't run up the middle all game on that Aggie front. So he found ways to get it outside. I think we need more of that. Though to be honest I don't know that we can block the edge to actually break the play either. Man...it's frustrating how poor the run blocking has been isn't it.
