NJCAA has pushed fall sports to the spring
LINK
Does anyone know if this means Black and Hammond gain an extra year of eligibility with the Gators as they are both on track to graduate in December (assuming that they arrive on campus for Spring 21 semester)?
Additionally, how did we lose Burton to Boston College?!?

The Oline recruiting is puzzling. I feel like our Oline coach thinks every commit should be a diamond in the rough, like Shannon did with our linebackers.
We need to land 2-3 top 250 Oline a year, every year, at minimum to keep a top offensive line in the SEC. It's great to get the hidden gem, but we can't rely on all hidden gems either. Braun was a massive get last year. Just need more of him and less 700+ rated players.

We lost a big player but gained one today. Very interesting.

I'll update the OP with all commits and the like when I for sure get an idea of where we are regarding for the season this year. All indicators point to a cancellation or postponement, with cancellation likely having a better chance.
Obviously, cases have continued to climb with Florida being one of the hardest hit states.

We landed two commits from Oline...and neither feel like it's an exciting commit. Our Oline class may be the worst in the SEC by years end at this rate. Just...no clue what they are doing. Defensive class is very good as usual.

I dont understand the O-Line recruiting either its like hevesy thinks he us still at MOO state. Trying to find 3 star diamonds in the rough hev maybe a good o-line coach but a very terrible recruiter. UF should be able to get 3-4 4 star o-lineman from the state of Florida alone every year

Agreed. We def need to get elite tackles. You cant win in the SEC without elite tackles. Far to many five star pass rushers in this conference.

My opinion only but if the O-Line isn't greatly improved (not just slightly) from last season (that is if they have a season) then it's time for Mullen to let go of hevesy. He should be able to fall out of bed at UF and get a 4 star O-Line commitment. Unfortunately it seems to be 3* after 3* you are not going to get 3 Diamonds in rough every year you may find one every so often but not 3 or 4 a year that seems to be UF's thinking right now.

If our Oline looks like hot dogshit we won't recruit well at that position. Not everyone just shovels dumptrucks of money to fill those spots like Georgia does.
It's a process. Recruiting has greatly improved and we won games in spite of a pretty bad offensive line. If they improve over this year or next, we'll see a different landscape.
Unfortunately this is a long game.

A Miami insider that posts on another board is saying Taylor is about to commit to them.

Just messin' with ya buddy.
I am in need of a little comic relief lately, even if it is my own bad humor.

Wilcoxson will reclassify from 2021 to the 2020 class and should be enrolling this month.

Strange saga with this kid, but glad we got him. Hopefully he is mature enough to capitalize on his God given talent!
Edit**
Just read that he is only 17 and crushed his courses to put himself in the position to do this. Very impressive, and the commit/de-commit is much less of a concern learning how young he is. Very excited to have him on board. Grantham has been putting in work on the defensive recruiting trail.

5* DB Jason Marshall commits to the Gators.
I'm shocked.

What a huge pick up. Collier today and suddenly we’re one of the hottest teams in the country.

Ponzi Scheming MFers were talking about 5 for 5 on the Palmetto kids coming into the weekend.
Recruiting is fluid but a lot of good news seems to be on the way.
I saw that CJ and Tabor replied to Marshall's commitment directly. Good to see our NFL guys help out.
