It's been obvious for months, apparently. I never get my hopes up/down until LOIs are signed.

Never once believed we were going to land Bowman. The top Florida players always go out of state for a variety of reasons. We can land blue chip WR, DE, and DBs all day. Landing a 5-star feature RB, WR, or OT will always be a big challenge for us.

Maybe I'm too competitive. I expect to win at everything. Recruiting,on the field, playing washers, horse shoes you name it.. I guess I need to temper my expectations.. or find a more competitive hobby.

I mean if I'm Bowman I would want to play for Dabo...his kids love him and he is the 2nd best coach in the country so can't hate the kid for it. Mullen will get there eventually, but it isn't like he went to FSU or Miami. So I get it. Don't like it...but I get it.

The only reason I like it is if we're going to be against him, it will be in a Playoff game so it won't hurt that much.

With all the transfers will we even have a #2 defense in practice

May have to move some OL to DL to help out there

Albino, have you even looked at our roster????

We have plenty of defense, DL? Ok, Slaton, Conliffe, Dunlap, Shuler, Campbell and I think Carter will play a lot inside, Moon, all 6'6" of him, Zuniga, Greenard, add frosh Bogle who may r/s but will be able to play in 5 games along with Humphries.

Now, the bigger concern is 2020, but with grad transfers and the maturation of Bogle and Humphries, we need some more big bodies at DT and have several committed. We have a loaded secondary and LB is in good shape. We will be fine.

Yeah, we're completely fine this year. Next year we might need some bodies, but everything's great right now.

The only possible issue I can see coming up is having enough bodies for 2 special team groups.

Your kickoff return and kick off coverage teams usually have 2nd teamers sprinkled in there. Kylan J and the other LB would’ve been on both of those. Now it will be young fellas which is good too. Exposure to the game.

We could get a bit thin in those areas though.

Daddy, if you watch games you will see that walk ons are a big part of special teams with some true frosh and second teamers.

Honestly, Im not worried at all with our team this year. I see plenty of speed on both sides of the ball. Campbell, Slaton, Conliffe, Shuler, Dunlap and others will be better this year at run stopping.

I also feel strongly that the Gators will come out of the locker room for the WLOCP with steam coming out of their ears and ready to take the east crown.

Our return and coverage on special teams needs to improve some and help with field position. True frosh will get their chance to show what they are made of.
