I still like AR's future. Beck is on a different level.

The only problem is that project Quarterbacks aren't going to have enough time for this system. AR is a project and I hate to say it that coarsely but it is what it is. Jalon has a huge upside, as does Emory and AR would eventually transfer because there's a damn good possibility that we're only going to add more firepower every year from hereon out.

He's a willing runner, has incredible finesse, deep ball, outstanding footwork, above average vision and has the same problem as Jalon with keeping the ball tucked (but that's easy to fix).

He's a good QB, hopefully this and his de-commitment is a good sign for us.

I’ve read Andrew Luck comparisons.

That excites me

Him being a big time baseball prospect leads me to believe that he’s an underrated runner/athlete, too.

I’m sure that’s what Mullen is thinking too. He’ll be able to run Mullen’s offense.

I also think Mullen has adjusted his offense to where it’s not so run heavy. QB run/run game in general is still a huge part of it, but I saw what seemed like a much bigger role in the passing game this year than in previous seasons with Mullen.

Maybe has something to do with franks skill set, but that makes me excited about what he could do with beck. Beck may be the first non-project we’ve taken at QB since... Will Grier?

Agreed. His offense can work without the QB run. He just likes the option. Obviously Fields is still the premier type of QB Mullen wants..but Beck is good enough that we don't need the Q; run honestly. Kid can light it up from the pocket

Of the Andrew Luck type comparisons are true, people don’t give Luck enough credit for his athleticism.

I’m pretty sure Luck ran a faster combine 40 than Tebow did.

I think Beck will be successful if he can prove to be a tough and willing runner when necessary, like Franks embraced the last four games of the year. Thats when the offense really started clicking.

I think he had three long runs in his highlights. He can run, he will run. I have no doubt that by the time he gets on campus he will also gain weight/get bigger. Especially since he's eventually going to commit to the good guys...hopefully.

DT is a huge need this cycle. The staff see this and already have two studs committed. Gervon Dexter is saying he is not taking visits except for the good guys. He dominated the UA Orlando camp.

Dexter is 100% Gator. He's similar to the Diwun Black of the 2020 cycle. Mullen's recruiting tactic seems to be to make the team as much of a "team" as possible before getting on campus.

Mullen does use commits to recruit other players. Black did it for 2019. Mullen has Dexter tag other recruits. Lee was tagging Bowman.

Bowman named UF his leader at the UA camp this last weekend.

A lot of good news coming out of the UA camps.

Beck had some very positive quotes about Mullen. Basically parroted Mullen on being a "willing runner" and he thinks he will fit into Mullen's system.

He was previously committed to UF baseball, flipped to Bama for baseball and football, then decommitted after UF Jr day and saying he is just playing football.

All this adds up to me that he is a silent to UF and he will make it public in the next few months after a few OVs.

2021 ATH commits to Florida. Dink Jackson

People say LB but I'm not entirely certain on that one. He's on the smaller end, maybe a hybrid player.

Definitely.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if he changed his position.
