How he handled the situation with HeismanGator scooping him and how UncleSilk was outpredicting him is hilariously egotistical. With Heisman, he deleted all of his posts then later repost the same info. Also got UncleSilk removed from CBs on 247 because Silk was 12 out of 13 or something like that.
I understand he's a writer, and this is his livelihood but it's just really ugly. I don't wish anyone to lose their livelihood, but Higdon is going to Eat. His. Lunch.
Higdon actually has connections directly with the coaching staff, so when he tells me "it's cool", I listen. I figure he's got more information than about 98% of TWitter sources for the Gators.
But yeah, Higgs had a nice little hat on his head and Jalon is Tweeting at him. Would love to steal that one.

Higdon does have a source on the UF coaching staff. One thing to keep in mind that UF coaching staff will only want their version of the story out there.
Higdon is going to say "it's cool" even when it is not because he wants to keep his source.

Silkk is stoked, too. I don't think it's exclusive to just one person but a lot of people are feeling confident who aren't Gators Breakdown. I think I'm just ready for some football vengeance.

Stampini used to be absolute money in South Florida. Stone cold, lead pipe lock when he spoke up. But that was years ago. Tough to make connections re: UF recruiting when you seem to actively hate the team...

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Copeland would be enrolled in August? I might be talking completely out of my arse, too. I don't think it has anything to do with academic casuality, I think it's just his timeline.

Fact: There is no other program in college football that gets abused by recruits like we have since class of 2010. My god. How many near misses/false hopes can we get?
Pittman to Oregon, Steele to USC, Billingsly to Bama, Cross back to FSU? At this rate, everyone needs to mentally prepare for Elam to UGA.

Lol I guess I should have checked here first. I saw Jason Higdon retweeted his commitment on twitter and I got excited and posted it to the recruiting page. Didnt even think about the fact that Mullen hasn't confirmed it yet.

Been there before my friend. I remember James Wilder leaking to the press that he was committing to UGA and then his bitch arse went to FSU. It felt like we were in on everyone but landed very few.

I think there's a new power dynamic being levied by recruits who are using reporters to "hype" themselves.
I really want Steele, but something is rubbing me the wrong way about how two different reporters have both been called out by him after suggesting they had a very strong source.
USCe published a report saying it was between USCe and USCw and Florida was out of it -- he responded within minutes and said it wasn't true.
A USCw reporter now has a source that swears his committing to USC and he immediately responded with "mute all lies".
I hate to say that the recruits are being nefarious, but I really don't like this new platform of "too much attention" that's going on.
Even Kayvon making a fricking minute long documentary style video to release his top 5, it's getting ridiculous.
