ESPN and SECN are going to drown us in UK roundball as if there were no other teams.

I turn off TV as soon as I see UK roundball is coming.

I've heard a few mentions of us but it's been after Michigan State, Kentucky, and Kansas as "possibles as well"

This is the year to see what we are made of. Have the roster. Hopefully we get that SEC crown. This conference has gotten very good at basketball very quickly. Ton of great coaches in the league the last five years.

Jay Bilas gushed about UF and a couple of other teams on the Scott Van Pelt show last night. Mentioned Blackshear as a national POY candidate.

Bilas seems to be a huge fan of us. Not a bad thing.

Shots weren’t falling early but the inside offensive game of this team is MUCH better than any of Whites teams since the Elite 8 run.

Freshman looked really good especially Payne. Lewis seemed to be pressing early but got into a little groove in the 2nd half.

Lots of different lineup combinations by White.

Good win though. Defense was spectacular especially during the 5 minute stretch which essentially ended the game in the first half.

Blackshear was such a big pick up. We haven't had bigs we could count on in awhile. Will be nice to not be so reliant on the three every game come tourney time.

We have a lot of talent. It will be hard to figure out which combos work best, but that is a problem you like having.

White emptied the bench really in the second period. We didn't get to see what the whole team will look like later on. Blackshear is a monster and teams will have no choice but to double team him and that leaves others open. I liked Johnson as an inside/out presence.

We allowed way too many 3s though and that's mainly because of true frosh on the court (# 10 killed us with his sharp shooting)....I hope. Once we have the real starters on the court most of the game...we will see a much different team.

I'm sure he will tighten up the rotation before conference play. I'd assume Lewis, Payne, and Bassett are the most likely 3 off the bench if tightened. We have enough Guards don't know that we see Glover a ton unless we go really small for that particular game.

I like liberal subbing to keep everyone fresh. I think we need to get hit in the mouth a few times and our youngsters will get into the flow of NCAA ball. We also have so much hype that it is causing most everyone to play a little tight. Too much thinking, not enough natural flow. It is a long season and it will come. Although FSU has no bearing on our season, I would really like to beat those jackwagons this year.
