Like when the conference expanded and instead of getting Arky yearly (who just lost Petrino and Gained Bert) we get A&M....

To be fair, A&M really hasn't even been all that good since we started playing them.. we've just been worse.

Very fair, but just looking at both programs from the outside looking in, I'd rather be playing Arkansas.

I think we had a fairly good record vs Arky since joining.
(yep 10-13 and our last 3 in a row)

Why did we play them last year and not this year? Im so confused by this schedule.

I used to know the rotation of West teams coming in and out and who was home and away on our schedule like the back of my hand, now it all just seems kind of arbitrary and we just play them randomly - LSU, Arkansas, 'Bama.

'Bama.

haven't played them in 8 years!

Glorious. We get them with Tua right in his prime and our team complete shite.

so true. we also get our second consecutive trip to Baton Rouge in 2020 as a result of the 2015 '1000 year flood game' that was moved.

speaking of LSU, they had a nice '125 Seasons' commemorative patch on their jerseys this season. wanna know who else played its 125th football season this year? yeah - you guessed it - and nothing from our Administration on the field at W-B or jersey.

Gamecocks now sit at 609 all-time football wins after the 125th season. 95 SEC wins all-time.

Carolina's won at least 5 SEC games in a season 8 times - all occurring since 2000 - 2 with Holtz, 5 with Spurrier, and 1 with Muschamp.

if Muschamp can get USC to 100 all-time SEC wins in 2019, I'll forgive him for the Florida & Virginia disasters this season.

So we have to win 5 out of Alabama, Georgia, A&M, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, Vandy, and Kentucky.

I think Kentucky drops drastically. They lose the little bit of 4 star talent they had and have no 4 stars on the recruiting board. Two of their all time best players will be gone too.

I think we beat Vandy. Cuz its vandy.

I think we beat Tennessee because we own those dumb orange fricks.

Missouri with Bryant will be a bitch but its possible. ill take the W

thats 4 wins. we could get as few as 2 easily though, or frick around and beat Fl and A&M for 6.

I dont think so though.

3-5 is my guess

that's where I'm at... 'highlight' of the season will be putting an end to the skid vs UK. maybe

until we can run the ball with any consistency for 4Q, I don't see us beating UGA, UF or TxAM anytime soon.

I don't know much yet.

I'll make a better prediction post spring.

I'm teetering one way but not totally sure.

But I was right this year.

let's see if I can go 2 for 2.

Regarding Mizzou, I never thought Bryant was all that great, but we can't stop running QBs. I predict a Kentucky or UVA like performance (in my too soon prediction) we also play them away.

4 definite losses (Alabama, Georgia, A&M, Florida)

3 "toss ups" (Tennessee, Missouri and Kentucky)
Could make good arguments for these to be definite losses

1 should win (Vandy)

Everybody get ready to go 1-7 in 2019

I honestly think Kentucky will be a more sure fire win than Vandy. Just look who leaves and who stays. They will be decimated.

2-6 still might make me jump off a roof tho.

Post & Courier just announced that Bentley intended to return for his SR season... which is all fine and good I guess but was this really ever an issue? It came off as if we were stressing about him jumping to the NFL.

here's hoping you shock the hell outta all of us and throw out a '12' in the spring

more random f-u-c-k-ery ...

SEC wins since '92...

FL 157
GA 133
TN 123
SC 95
KY 62
VU 44
MO 27*

Georgia passed Tennessee during Butch's 0-8 farewell tour in 2017. Vols just posted their 2nd consecutive losing season, 7th out of 11 - and 8th over the last 14.

as good as UK's season was this year and even during this 5 year run vs USC, there's still quite a bit of separation between the programs in wins. I believe Kentucky is the only SEC school to lose 10 games twice and win 10 games once in a 7 year window.

Gamecocks still hold a 5-4 edge over Florida since we broke through to Atlanta - even with the give-away game in the Swamp this season.

the Ugly...

5 straight to KY
5 straight to TxAM
4 straight to UGA

If memory serves neither Snell or Allen were 4 or 5 stars. Stoops is pulling 3 stars out of Ohio that Ohio State and Notre Dame reject.
