One more training camp day Tuesday, then Wednesday is off, then Thursday is 1st day of game prep for North Carolina.....

No one was at the scrimmage except for two former players and our new president and he was only there for a little while.
I was supposed to get to attend but none of the chapter presidents ended up being allowed to attend and they even turned away a couple of other players who arrived late.
The two former players who were there .... you talked to one of them and he told you that? I am definitely not questioning your honesty but I know both of the guys who were there (although neither told me what I posted above) and I cannot even begin to imagine either of them using the term "average" and there is no way anyone could describe Bentley's performance in camp as "inconsistent." There are other ways it could be described but inconsistent is definitely not one of them.
You sure your guy wasn't talking about the first scrimmage? There were quite a few former ballplayers at that scrimmage and I can think of one of those in particular who I could picture saying something like you just claimed .... using the words "average" and "inconsistent," because he is generally just an egotistical young a-hole.
Anyways, it's not important. TRob and Jaycee basically echoed everything I had relayed during their media things last night.
Average and inconsistent huh. Yeah, well, okay. We'll see for ourselves soon enough.

Well it wasn't Erik Kimrey. He was at the scrimmage and said we looked good.

Yea I’m pretty sure we’re talking about the same person. That’s exactly what he told me. Of course I hope he is wrong but I figured he has an idea of what he saw and was talking about. So I decided to share it here. I have no reason to make something like that up. And yea my source on recruiting was wrong about one guy. But that was mainly because Marshawn caught everyone by surprise with his commitment to us. It changed things. When I hear things from legitimate sources I try to post them when I can for those who care to know.

With Thursday's practice, the Fall Training Camp has concluded, and Game Week preparations for North Carolina has begun. Today was also the first official fall semester day for USC students. It's 2019 Football Season!

Damn, entering the portal this late into summer. He must be pissed.
Spoke with my UNC buddy tonight. He is upbeat and hopeful but I think pretty realistic.
Says their RBs are rally good and so is their OLine. Says this freshman QB is supposed to be special and is a leader and has a cannon for an arm. Says he feels like they’ll score on us and take the over on the o/u. Think he said it was sixty something.
Said their secondary is pretty good and they’ve got a couple of good LBs but they have questions along the DLine.
Said everyone up there, papers, radio shows, websites, are saying Bentley is prone to turnovers and our OLine sucks. Says our secondary is inexperienced and young and we have questions at LB. Said he heard mUSChamp is on the hot seat and fans are not happy and SC fans up there are calling in saying how worried they are about this game and how Mack is the better coach and will out coach Boom.
So there we go, The perspective from the other side. Sounded pretty confident that UNC is going to beat us. He played ball there, was on their Board of Regents fwiw.
