icing on the cake today is all the lead TV coverage Carolina's getting for knocking off Georgia. the other school in SC is barely being talked about beating a name program in FSU. it's all Gamecock tonight.

You misinterpret what I was saying. Most (starting with me) were saying we should win the games like UNC, and most likely lose the games like Alabama and Georgia.
Well, we lost against UNC, when we felt we should've won that, and we've been pretty upset about it. But we beat Georgia on the road. You're trying to say, "what if we beat UNC AND UGA together, and be 4-2 right now" - that's talking oranges to my apples. I'm saying only one of the two, not both. Had we lost vs UGA like most expected, we wouldn't be 4-2, we'd be 2-4.....

Well last night, I decided to do the wife a solid, and do the ironing while she watched a movie with the kid and did some other chores around the house. (We've all had colds this week and are all kind of under the weather)
Unfortunately for me, we had one of or better games of the season (that's not saying much). So looks like I'm stuck until we lose again.
And guys if you want to get more football screen time from your spouse, this is a tactic.
True to my word, I broke out the iron again during the game yesterday.
We're now 2 for 2 when I do.
PS: I was SOOO tempted to hit REC on the DVR yesterday when we were up. But I resisted the urge....

Not sure what your thought process is here. The process for Caslen becoming USC President was still done wrong, and 50 years won't change that fact. But he's still our President now, so I have no choice but to support him, and hope he becomes the best President we've ever had at USC. A good place to start would obviously be supporting our athletic programs when they win big games.
But nothing about that changes the 2nd sentence above. But also, it doesn't make Gamecock fans and alums haters for pointing out facts, either.....

Not a liberal here. Very conservative in fact.
The man shouldn’t be our president. He didn’t meet USC requirements, regardless of whether they are good requirements or not. Our faculty/students should have been listened to, as supported by the vote of no confidence. I could care less how “fine” of a man he is, there is a proper process, and our governor pushed for us to bypass that.

You mean the small handful of protesting students? Listen to them? Hell no. And his military service does make him a fine man you obviously were not in the military.
Either way the deed is done why continue to bitch, cry and moan about it instead of giving 100% support and pray he succeeds.

It was more a shot at the "Fire Muschamp", "Fire Tanner" crowd than those that still get their pantaloons in a bunch over SC's president.
