They seem to fluctuate a lot here in NoCal. I've seen them at .99 up to 3.99 right now. I always end up buying though.

They vary a lot depending on season and store. Kroger had them for about $1.99 lb. last time I bought.
Discount grocers like Super One and WM sometimes will have them a a bit cheaper. They may be $3+ in the off season.

They are so god damn good. I wish they were smaller though. The ones at Rouse’s weigh like half a pound. Has to be 300 calories.

If you're near a Trader Joe's, they sometimes have bags of small Honey Crisp for sale.

Walmart here has a 3lb bag of smaller ones. I think it is $4-5 a bag, and there's about 8 of them in there. I still buy the bigger ones. The wife sliced one up each morning and splits it into the 2 kids lunch, so she likes the bigger ones so she only has to peel and slice one.

Don't know what I've been paying for them here in Texas, but they're damn good.

I've seen them as low as $.99 and as high as $4.99.
I don't pay over $2.50.

I just purchase four on-line from HEB for $1.25 apiece. They're usually very large.
