Will we have a decent kicker this year?

Watched the outback bowl rerun on SEC network today and good god Logan almost lost the game for us.

I believe we will. Luke Logan graduated so improvement is inevitable, no matter how small.

I think the most common hope is for Costa to come in and take the job. I'm sure the kid is talented but true freshman kickers are usually inconsistent at best. I just hope someone stands out and takes the job before the first game kicks off.

Thing that pissed me off the most about Logan was the video the team put out of him on their pro day nailing 50+ fgs consistently down the pipe. Like wtf dude. You couldn't make a 25yd fg to save your life during the season but start showing out AFTER the fact with bombs down the middle?

You can watch almost any kicker before a game nail 50+ yard field goals without any issue. The pressure of having guys running at you, possibly having the game on the line and having someone catch and hold the ball causes a lot of problems that kickers have.

He missed a 35yd field goal dead center. A lot of HS kickers can kick that no problem. It's annoying.
