I think teams like Arkansas, UF, LSU are more used to the big stage. Bama may have been a little too high after the SEC tournament. This is why I didn't have a lot of faith in them in this tourney. They could easily turn it around though.

Has been for 3 weeks+. He's bricking wide open 3's like a middle schooler. I'm sorry but the NCAA tournament is not the place to "find your shot again." He's too much of a detriment to the team with the volume of shots he keeps taking. And when his shot is off, he's a mental headcase with the rest of his game going downhill. He needs to sit.
And Herb Jones has got to stop taking the role of the primary scorer. His confidence in his scoring ability is way too high and he is being dumb and wasting possessions like that bad shot/turnover with 10 seconds left in the half.
Quinerly should be playing 38 minutes a game. He is by far our most talented overall player and he has really found his groove in the last month.

I think the same thing happened to LSU football. After they caught lightning in a bottle in 2019 they couldn't maintain it, and failed worse the next year than any title winning team in my lifetime.

I'm going to quote myself again after that Herb Jones airball 3 to start the half. Herb is leading the team in scoring, but it is because he is shooting too much. Definitely does not need to be shooting 2 3's in a game.
