My latest and greatest. Alabama had an explosive first quarter in Neyland but kinda had to hold on for the win.

For any team, it always puzzles me how you can go one quarter of effortless domination and then seem to completely forget how to do anything for the other 3 quarters.

We went through that stuff a number of times. I remember the Florida game and just watched in amazement as we went streaking down the field and then another turnover would set the Gators up for another TD. At the end of the game, I was pretty sure Kiffin got his wish, we had no offensive identity that year. Other than Sims to Cooper on a roll-out, money in the bank. The barner game was just like the Gator game and so was the Ohio State game with a much more painful outcome. In between was LSU in BR and Sims made some key runs and throws late in the 4th to pull out another 2012 finish. What a wild, roller-coaster season.

It literally sounded like a neutral site game. Consistently taking over Neyland Stadium is one of my favorite things about the Saban era.

2014 reminds me a lot of 2008. Often jumped out to big leads and then let the other team back in. Have a dominating win over an SEC team. OT win in Baton Rouge. New OC. Couldn't close the deal in the end.

Fulmer's sendoff in 2008 was absolutely amazing.
