LSU has won 3 titles in the aughts. Other than Bama there isn't one school in the SEC who wouldn't trade places with us. Impressive that it was done with three different head coaches.

I'm not referring to success or lack thereof, but rather how one treats the success.
Constantly inventing the notion that fans assume LSU will suck, or reminding them over and over again is very much an Auburn thing - Punt Bama Punt is still in the lexicon because even as a high school student in the freaking 90s I would hear people talk about it. Like that was a bigger deal than having Bo Jackson as a much more recent thing to talk about.
The best thing about Kick Six is that it gave them something else to talk about that actually occurred within the lifetime of the people they were talking to. If they don't get another miracle win like that, my nephew's kids will be hearing about it.

Just enjoy that season and hold on to those memories as long as you can. You lost a shite load of players and coaches, and the only coach that stayed was Ed fricking Oregon lol
