Them boys just wanted it more. Got physical and just out played us all around and both sides. That a huge win for you.

Happy for your team and will be pulling for the cats rest of the way.

Now sit back and watch me go have a melt party.

You also caught us at a unique time. The team and coaches are honorary pallbearers tomorrow for Marco Shemwell. He’s the 4 year old killed by the drunk driver after the last game. The game ball is going to his family. I think they really, really wanted to win tonight.

Good to see you over here Cdawg

I think the crowd and weather helped and the game felt much closer than the final score. I still think State will do all right in the west before this is all said and done.

Solid win by the Wildcats.mr. Snell is The Man! Your QB grew up just a little more. He will be ok by the end of the season. Just tell him to wait until after the Georgia game, please.

I agree. I could tell that the fans were much more energized than they were 2 years ago. The Kentucky fanbase, teams, and coaches circled this game, wanted this game, and were confident in their chances to win this game.

Meanwhile MSU played with a culture of "oh it is just Kentucky" and played with a culture of cockiness which allowed for Kentucky to handle a team like MSU easily.

I have to say our fanbase is hypocritical. They get mad when someone looks at the helmet sticker and disrespects State. But they just did the same thing to Kentucky in this game. I do not understand this. Yeah I know Mullen had a good record. But most of those games were close. And all of the games under Croom and Sherrill were close. That's why the series is tied rn. It is always a tough game for both teams. It is odd to not see this game in October. But the physicality of the game did not change.

This is certainly a different Kentucky team I have not seen. The road to Atlanta goes through Lexington. If nothing else you are the 2nd best team in the East. But hey the difference to me from 2014 MSU and 2018 Kentucky is that you get the big game at home.

Another big game against SC this weekend. Should be fun. And yes. I can say we are rivals. I would not want to trade our East opponent for anyone. Lexington is a fun trip and Kentucky is a cool state to visit.

This team is currently playing with a chip on it's shoulder. That's a good thing. Need to keep that up. They seem to be the more aggressive team each game right now, and need to remain that way.
