Why Can't Bryce Hit the Deep Ball?

The shite that is the Golding defense is well established, but that last offensive series was atrocious. You knew a punt equaled a L at that point. The receivers outside of Williams were awful...the TEs played their worst game of the season, the OL was destroyed...but when Bryce does have time he's still missing the deep ball constantly...I really don't get it.

Not even close to enough air under it

He sees em and gets excited and throws them way to much on a rope

The great one he threw tonight he lofted like crazy

There aren’t even plays on the ball by either us or them bc he just throws the shite too hard either short or long

He’ll get better

Short ball ain’t too great, either.

He threw at least 4 short passes at the feet of receivers.

Of course, the Oline sucked, so I’m gonna give him a little bit of a pass.

Mac can’t hit a deep ball because his offensive line sucks, which is why he’s on pace to take more hits than any QB in NFL history in a single season. Oh, and they’ll be missing 4/5 starters tomorrow.

Bryce just can’t hit a dude with 5 yards of separation down the field.

The drops didn’t help either. I lost count of the balls guys should have caught and didn’t. 8 and 19 should be riding pine next game after their performances

He has no touch on his passes. Everything is zipped on a line which gives the receivers no time to react and adjust. I’m not sure if this is something that can be taught as QBs seem to have it or not.

Yes, we dropped a shite load of passes. Receivers were alligator arming balls all night. They need to toughen up, except Williams. That dude came to play but he was it from a consistency standpoint.

Sometimes though you can help your receivers by not throwing ropes into places they are going to get killed though. Bryce and his receivers do not seem to understand hot routes or any blitz situations. Coaching has to improve.

I want to see more JoJo out there. I think he may become a huge threat for us this season.

Some of those patterns we're trying to run are just taking more time that #9 has to get it gone. We're in trouble at RB with the loss of 21. 23 isn't elite but he is all we have at this point to help 4 with the load.

It is going to be interesting to see how this team responds
