OM legit might be the best team in the West this year. I'm not sure our defense can stop anything they want to do.

If Emory's bum arse can run on us, we're in trouble my dudes. Where's our path to victory here outside of another scoring battle?

I know one thing.. we will Have to get pressure on the QB.. and our DB.. better turn their damn heads around and find the ball. I know it’s Saban’s technique.. but they are calling it PI this year…
We have to adjust.. and for the love of God our D needs to wrap up. I would call out the O line .. but they might be a lost cause right now. Just run BRob as he can break tackles when he gets hit 2 yards back with no holes. With all the talent on D, it’s hard not to start really pointing at Golding. It’s become a real issue on 3rd down. Bad angles, bad tackling, bad form, lost coverage.. they could have slanted us to death today. Run press and LB drop in middle.. send Harris on the blitiz and drop HT to zone middle.. man press on out side with zone cover 2 over the top.

It’s apparent that our source was right last year when the controls were stripped from the hobbit. He might be a wizard on the chalkboard, but he’s a toad when it matters

If we don’t get pressure on Corral it will be a long day. The only options I see are blitz , make them throw hot routes and make the tackle or rush 3 and drop 8 like MSU game last year (and Arky used that against OM last year) and hope he forces some throws . Ealy is a good back as well. Just not confident we will slow them down. It goes without saying that Bryce and the offense need a stellar performance

I'd bet the over and Ole Miss to cover.

So it's your assertion that someone else took over after OM, then I assume Golding regained control for the SECCG, and then the other guy started calling again? That must be what happened because the SECCG looked just like yesterday....

Golding is not a good DC. OM should win this game. Our offense is not in sync. Our OL has talented players who don’t seem to play together. Our defense looked terrible last night.

Ole Miss will go in dry if Pete Golding is still calling the defense in two weeks and Henry T. is still starting. He was exposed yesterday. Moody should at least be playing more if not starting.

Our offense being "in sync" isn't the issue.

The issue is we have WRs that can get separation and out QB struggles throwing deep.

We've been exposed so we should expect all teams to dare us into throwing deep and have their safeties playing closer to the line of scrimmage.

This makes us predictable... hence why it's our main issue.

I had us going 11-1 regular season, Ole Miss being the lone loss.
They took us to the wire last year. Kiffin's best playcaller around. Veteran QB. Defense playing above average after being abysmal last year.
Bottom line, like last year, we'll need to win a shootout type game.

All I know is this is going to be one of the first times in a long, long time that heading into a home game national prognosticators are going to (maybe reasonably) expect us to lose. Even more so than LSU in 2019 (much more, actually I think).

The place needs to be a fvckin hornets nest.

I'm feel sure this is the case. That means it will be on the offense to win that game.

This is a ball control offense. They can’t keep up with OM.

I agree , our tackling was atrocious. It was bad last year and is bad this year too. Is tackling not being taught or is a lack of live practices ?
