Alabama's streak versus Tennessee turns 15 this October. TIA

The poster did say it would be 15 wins come October. Assuming Alabama wins that game, he ain't wrong

Read again...he was talking about a child starting high school in the thread title, then literally said, the streak "turns 15".

It would be the 15th win...but it would not "turn 15 in age" until 2022.

Let's say you had a kid born on August 3rd 2011. How old will the kid "turn tomorrow"...using the OP math...he would turn 11.

1. August 3, 2011
2. August 3, 2012
3. August 3, 2013
4. August 3, 2014
5. August 3, 2015
6. August 3, 2016
7. August 3, 2017
8. August 3, 2018
9. August 3, 2019
10. August 3, 2020
11. August 3, 2021

So, now I guess all of the kids born in 2001 can legally drink a year earlier, since the rules to age no longer apply.

How old is a person that was born the day after Tennessee's last win against Alabama? We're also getting way too deep into the semantics here

That isn't when Alabama's streak started...it started the day they beat Tennessee.

ha. Personally, I have no doubt that it's just a matter of time (read: the right coach) till UT is again a consistent SEC contender. Doesn't mean I'll like it, because I won't, but I know it will happen.

Well that depends, are we talking winning streak or streak since losing to UT? All I said was "Alabama's Streak." If I were to say "Georgia streak since winning a National Championship," most people would say the timer started the day after they beat Notre Dame on 1/1/1981 and not when they lost to Pitt on 1/1/1982

Youre not wrong btw. If I could redo it I'd probably word the thread differently

It's the little things...like knowing that the streak would be old enough to legally get a hardship license (at least in Tennessee), but not a standard learner's permit this year.

ETA...and even at 14, the streak would be old enough to be starting its Freshman year of H.S.
