Who coached those Florida State teams? I bet they’re pretty good.

All that really tells me is that Clemson has been damn good and the acc has been a dumpster fire. Also shoutout to les for the epic 2012 peach bowl choke that broke the ceiling for Clemson

Dabo ran Jimbo out of the ACC.

After their 2014 matchup, Jimbo was 4-1 vs Dabo.

Since then, Jimbo is 0-5 vs Dabo.

GT was the better team for 4 of those wins (08, 09, 09 rematch, 2014).

That Notre Dame win should come with a giant asterisk.

Jimbo won 4 of the first 5 while Dabo was ramping up.. then Dabo won the final 3. Ran his arse out of town..

Becasue Sunshine was out due to Covid protocols. They needed every damn bit of good fortune to win a night game in their own house with arguably the most valuable player in CFB out.

A win is a win, but let's call a spade a spade.

Lol wut?

Clemson's backup played better in the first matchup than Lawrence did in the second.

Not sure how you can argue that.

Trevor Lawrence was not an elite college quarterback. Most of his hype comes from his potential rather than what he's actually accomplished.

I remember him taking over as interim and weathering the storm. When Clemson hired him full time I thought they were fricked.

I think Dabo in 2008 was in over his head a little bit but to his credit, he learned and improved on the job. Now he's the second best coach in the county behind Saban.

Yeah, we're just gonna have to disagree on that one.
