Sux at recruiting, and keeps dead weight around too long. Looking at you 3rd and Grantham.

Who's going to be UF's next HC, and when does Mullins go to South Carolina?

Dan has always been way better at player development than recruiting. And if I had to pick one or the other, I think I would want my coach to have the Development skills.

He can recruit just fine at FL, because it's FL. I think Mullins at FL is a good fit all around.

So you would rather be Florida than Georgia?

Yeah that defense was leaky, and who is replacing Kadarius Toney and Kyle Pitts?

Sure. I would rather overperform than underperform any day. A great development coach can win championships with merely Top 25 recruiting classes. Which is automatic at FL. You don't have to be Top 5 in recruiting every year to win.

We should revisit this after the season. I clearly have a bias, but I'd take UGA's position over FL's any day right now. The days of the developmental coach winning at an elite level are over. Saban, Urban and Dabo changed that forever.

Mullins wanted the Jacksonville job. I think if the right NFL team calls next season, he's gone. No recruiting in the NFL.

Arkansas recruited in the top 25. If you are going to win a National Championship you better be solidly in the top 10 and even have a top 5 recruiting season in that 4 year period.

Jimmy's and Joe's will beat Xs and Os.
