I bet you would. Texas hasn't been that good in over a decade.

I like the rb's for A&M and King has great wheels but at the moment I gotta lean to Ole Miss and their complete backfield. A known at this stage is more reliable than an unknown. Aggies absolutely have the potential. And it pains me to say it. The other intangible is the OL and Aggie has 4 new starters.

I would have liked to have seen that game with both sides healthy. Clearly his injury effected the outcome of the game, but there is no way to know if it would have made a difference.

Unfortunately, it happened and now Alabama is an unstoppable freight train. Maybe that would have happened either way.. Maybe Mack doesn’t decide to change his whole offensive scheme and send Texas spiraling for the next decade.. Maybe Mack is still the Texas coach.

Either way, I hate injuries, especially in games like that.. just like I hated what just happened to NC State in Omaha. The “What If” game sucks!

Texas averaged 42.7 ppg. Doubt it will go up

You ignorant frick the Bama qb had the same yards as your whole fricking team last year. I said offense not scoring. Sarkesian will run roughshod through the B12. Hope the defense can carry his jock.

Bama 921 Total Plays
Texas 738 Total Plays

Bama 7,041 Total Yards
Texas 4,754 Total Yards

Bama 13 Games (dumbass!)
Texas 10 Games

Bama 7.65 Yards Per Play
Texas 6.44 Yards Per Play

Bama 48.5 PPG
Texas 42.7 PPG

Bama 541.4 YPG
Texas 475.4 YPG

Clearly Bama is better across the board, and I believe Sark is better than Herman, but you can’t compare a teams total offense in 13 games to a team who only played 10 games.. you ignorant duck!

Texas has a pretty good group:

Bijan Robinson
Keilan Robinson (transfer from Bama)
Roschon Johnson

I have only seen highlights on KR, so hard for me to say how good he is and how many carries each back will get. Bijan is a stud though.

That moron hardly has any followers.

Meanwhile, A&M's running game will inevitably suck in 2021 because A&M's offensive line and brand new QB will also inevitably suck.

I understand that sentiment; however, I’d like to think our recruiting and fourth year in this system should help in replacing the losses on our OL. Might be wishful thinking but WTF else am I gonna do?

Idk about your OL, but I really like LJ Johnson. I think he makes some noise this year if he is able to get some carries.

Aggie’s as a former offensive lineman let me pount something out. A mfering running back isn’t getting anything without good line play.

I could get 5 yards behind Bama’s line particularly with a typical SEC crew when they are allowed to hold and tackle people.

Don’t you have 4 new starters on the offensive line or something like that???

A&M has had a lot of success running except under Sumlin who wanted to throw 40 times again, but we’d had some strong pairs, I added recruiting ranking to show you how Sumlin mismanaged talent.

Mike Goodson & Javorskie Lane - Texas remember these guys (5star/4star) - Fran years

Christine Michael & Cyrus Gray (5star/4star) - Sherman years

Sumlin years: Then we’d had good backs like Keith Food (5*) Trey Williams (5*), Brandon Williams (5* RB, played CB in the nfl), the big surprise was Trayveon Williams being the leading rusher in the SEC, of all the guys I named, he was less athletic than all those guys, (3) star back, so I don’t know if Jimbo runs a good scheme or relies on talent.

After Williams left, now Jimbo has Spiller, Achane, Johnson, Smith, all 4 stars with Ainias being a 3 star. Go back to Spiller freshman years, he was the only back on the roster by bowl game, Jimbo reloaded.

And King will be asked to run a lot this year, he’s probably going to have a lot of option plays. I expect him to run less the next year.

Kentucky's backs will out gain the A&M backs this season. Truth!

How Harris gets overlooked amazes me. And Marshawn Lloyd's a premier talent and healthy now. I believe White coming out of hs was a top 10 RB. And the QB Doty has wheels too
