It happens to the best of us. I'll be 40 this year, and I can't do two things at once anymore. I can no longer multitask. I'm as single minded as it gets. So they don't think I'm ignoring them, I told my kids if I'm not looking directly at them then I'm not listening. I've asked them to deliberately get my attention before speaking to me if they expect to heard. Same goes for my wife. I'll say being one track minded isn't so bad when I'm focused. I get shite done without getting distracted. I tune everything out. Damn I feel old. Lol
