They have figured out their style and Juzang is unconscious. It makes you feel a little better about our loss until you remember we just had to shoot 65% from the FT line and we win anyway and then you get the sadz again.

Yep. We could come right back next year and be a Top 5 seed and not have a path like we had this year.

It would be very difficult for Bama to beat Gonzaga but I think Bama matches up better with them. Lost a golden opportunity to prove it too!!

Yep...as crappy as my bracket is, I got 3 out of the 4 right in the final 4...my only miss was Bama. Have Gonzaga winning over Baylor.

You have to give Mick Cronin a lot of credit. He was UCLA's what, 4th choice? His "midwest", if you want to call it that, style is probably just what UCLA needed. He took a big chance leaving his Alma Mater where he could have coached the rest of his career.
A lot of people questioned how good he was coming from Cincinnati and if he was high profile enough for a blueblood. Lets face it a short, bald guy from Cincinnati doesn't look the part for a school like UCLA.
Sucks for us that we blew a huge opportunity, but am happy for Cronin, he's been a solid coach for a long time.

Oregon State HC is another Midwest guy (state of Wisconsin) as is Andy Enfeld of USC. Same with the Oregon HC. Love those Midwest coaches.

Exactly. Bama will be good next year... likely should make the tournament...maybe be a 4-5 seed...but it was absolutely set up perfect this year to make the Final Four...and then get hit by a hot lower seeded Provid...I mean, UCLA team...and laid an egg during the most fundamental aspect of the game...free throws.
Yeah... it's going to hurt awhile. I think we would have taken Michigan and made the final four.
