Wiltfong changed his CB pick from Clemson to Alabama, with Med (6) confidence.

Wiltfong does this every time when will people learn his early CB's mean nothing? He just changes his pick at the last second before commitment so his correct pct. is higher, he's wrong as much as anyone else on that site

Wiltfong doesn't pretend otherwise. He's said he doesn't hesitate to do early picks because he'll just change the confidence level and/or school as the situation changes. He says his intention with his initial CB picks and subsequent changes is to reflect the "current" buzz he's hearing.

He has the skill set and measurables you really want. But admittedly, it’s tough to see how good he really is because the talent around him is less than ideal.

This is what was going on with Max Johnson when he signed with LSU. His stats were trash but he played at a small private school. I watched one of his games and he had 9 passes dropped in 1 half.

Then he gets to college and had a hell of a freshman season.

Ty looks like a stud. Congrats Bama.

SEC now had 3 - 5* QB’s committed in this class

Gunner Stockton to Jawja
Walker Howard to LSU
Ty to Bama

A&M’s guy has a shot to climb up too

As a neutral observer who has lived in Martin, TN (population: 10,000), I can't fathom for 1 second taking a QB from there. 5A football in Tennessee is still pretty bad, 3A competition in the middle of nowhere is fricking horrible.

Last years heisman winner is from Amite, LA

Population - 4,401

He would have sucked arse if he came here anyway, everything VolFootball touches turns to shite
It appears the Alabama destruction of Tennessee is completed.

Vol fans are now congratulating Alabama for taking a 5* QB out of their state.

It’s almost sad

Actually, I did.

Austin Westlake knocked my son's team out of the playoffs this year, too.

Ewers had two terrible interceptions in the game. Poor decisions and poor throws.

guess I don't understand all the different rankings. He is a 4 star on 247, 4 star on rivals, 4 star on ESPN . . . . 5 star composite?

I need to read more on how it all works. Composite says 5 star so that is all that matters.

Because he is a top 30 prospect in all three services but they haven't awarded all of their 5 stars yet. Top 30 in the composite is a 5 star right now.

It was pretty much consensus that Duncanville and Galena Park North Shore had the most stacked teams in 6A. Both those teams lost to SLC and Westlake respectively.

I did not see a huge difference between the talent level on either side of the ball in the title game.

It will be interesting to watch the Elite 11 this year - it could be one of the deepest finals in years.
