As a Jags fan, this genuinely excites me for so many reasons, but I’m not going to get into all of that. Gators and Jags have a natural relationship and a good chunk of Gator fans also go for the Jags. I know it’s a stretch, but I feel like this has to be a good thing having our former National Championship winning Coach down the street. I’m not sure what the rules are for having NFL personnel on campus outside of Pro Days and in attendance at games to scout players. Is anyone up to date on this kind of stuff? Anyone else a Jags fan around here?

I'm kind of indifferent. I don't think it will work out but a lot of NFL assistants fail too so roll the dice I guess.

Does he need his trusty OC?

I would only be interested if Meyer brings in Tebow for a tryout.

I love the hire

As long as he takes Lawrence and isnt stuck to running a spread o all the time

Just mix it up be smart with your OC hire

He will have Lawrence Robinson Chark plus Shenault. Could be really good

I would get another weapon for TLaw tho. Toney would be nice maybe with Rams second first we got. I feel like he's just scratching the surface as a legit WR and breaking on his routes etc

Just not a pro fan myself....dont even watch the Bucs much at all. Have not watched an entire game yet.

The Jags are known to draft or sign Gator players, so that would be a good thing. I dont think the Bucs have 1 ex Gator on their roster.

I wouldnt count on Toney being first round, WRs dont demand the attention that QBs, DL & OL do. There are some really good WRs out there, Toney could have made more $$$ imo by playing in 2021 and the crop would be smaller of elite WRs. Hope Im wrong and he is first round of course.

After drafting Lawrence, If he could draft Toney and use him like Percy Harvin I believe he would open up the stale Jag offense. Until he gets broken in half anyway.

Toney doesn't take big shots. He delivers em. Also knows when one is coming and he dont let em make that direct contact.

He got so much better I think he's a first jmo. He balled out in big games

Deebo Samuel can go in the first I think he will. He can run it he can catch it return punts etc

Toney would be a monster in GB TBH. I think he will be a very good pro.
