Straws, I thought I read Miller was leaving...hope he stays of course...he will help shore up the middle.
I for one thinks Diwun (sp) Black will hit the ground running....as long as he attends classes. He looks more LB than safety...but even at LB could help with coverages. My main concern is the DL & QB over any position group. Hard to tell what is in store for 2021...Im always optimistic, but my gut tells me 7-4 with 8-3 possible. Will our string of NY6 games come to an end? If all our top playmakers opt/quit, then screw it anyway.
With the incoming class there will be more depth and I wanna see Mullen light a few fires under players azzes that slack off...the bench can be a powerful tool. Screw hurting anyone's feelings...Mullen needs to chew nails this year.

He has not.
He was not in the Oklahoma game but I think it was for an injury and everyone is just automatically associating his sitting for the draft.
Miller has not decided, yet, and he was very good in run support. We just need someone at MLB to step up in pass defense.

Bowman officially on campus and moved in. For spring semester I imagine. Great news. He's automatic ready to go right since basically missed all last yr

I dont know Gilberts story, but he was highly coveted by many schools. The only possible problem is attitude, we dont anyone who thinks they are privilged....dont care how talented they are. The problem with some 5 stars is they become 6 star headaches

Ammo, pass the ammo. We really need grown azz men on the DL, but need to recruit some really good prospects. Next year there is always JUCOs and more transfers I suppose.
If Gilbert doesnt pull the trigger for us...I have a thought, Gervon Dexter played TE and DT/DE in high school. At 6'7" he would be scaring the hell out of DBs/LBs. He is a big un. Just a thought.

This the new age of "portal recruiting" 
We have done well recently with transfers, the plus side of it, they already are shaving and have been in college and sometimes step right in as starters...the only down side is that some have limited eligibility left.

The five star transfer strikes again. We are not good at getting them out of high school but the best in the country at getting them out of the portal.
Gilbert and Bowman should be absolute studs. Lingard and Shorter have high upside we will see if they meet it.

the hits i saw that tre donaldson give in that video could be considered targeting in college. i like his tenacity, but that could hurt us.
