I don’t think there is any question that he is our future for the next 2-3 years. He’s going to have some big shoes to fill and will have to do it with a new coordinator, but with a better defense behind him. Obviously, we all are aware of the hype that has/is surrounding him, but what are your personal expectations of him being put into context with the reality of our personnel next year?

This isn’t really expectation but I’d want Bryce to be Bryce and not to think that he has to be Mac Jones. Just play your game and everything else will fall in place, kid is super talented and I expect him to play very well

He should be looking forward to the new class of receivers.

I'm so stoked about Bryce. We get him for two years which is fantastic. We've really been fortunate at the position for Saban's entire tenure here.

We need to temper our expectations for the kid's sake. Frankly,we haven't seen enough of him to know whether he's good/great/average yet. But, the offense is going to take a marked step back. You don't lose Heisman, Rimington, Davy O'Brien and Doak Walker award winners in the same off-season and not have a noticeable reduction in production and efficiency. So we need to give the kid time and patience to fail some.

Really need to get another Qb in the next class. Depending on who you believe about Tyson’s progress , and the way the transfer rules are headed, we are pretty thin at the position depth wise . I think Bryce will be fine . Hope he puts on a little weight in the offseason

We may have some portal QB's contacting us that can sling it. They see the talent we have and the results.

I think Young will be good with a spring, summer and fall camp under his belt. He’s a smart kid with lots of talent. That said, lots of unknowns in the QB room. With the new transfer rules, I wouldn’t be upset if we went out and got a veteran to compete with Young and push him.

i'm thinking milroe and or tyson need to be reved up and ready to go, when BY gets broke in half. i figure he'll be a good qb. just dont see him surviving a whole season.

Nick knows what he has in Tyson and Bryce and I wouldn't be surprised to see him look for another QB for the roster.

My expectations are limited, due to the nature of the 2020 season he didn’t see a ton of snaps, so his experience hasn’t changed much.

I think the year to get in shape and put some weight on will help, but I see him as developing tremendously in the off season and being good to go by kickoff. I think he has the ability to throw the ball all over the place, and that’s what we’ll se a lot of.

No. He doesn't have big shoes to fill. He just need to be Bryce Young. Don't put pressure on him.

I won't be surprised if Saban signs a transfer for depth. Not sure if all players will be immediately eligible , like this past season, but I'm sure there will be some that have graduated and will be eligible.

Offense will change obviously, his greater mobility opens up certain options, but using mobility is what got Tua hurt and ended our 2019 season. We really need someone to step up and be ready to play. I heard good things about Tyson up until the season started.

I think he'll be fine after he actually gets a spring practice under his belt.

Hopefully he'll hit the S&C program hard in the off-season. He looks sooo small up next to the linemen it's almost funny. He makes Smitty look big. Now Kyler Murray is a shorter QB, but he's also pretty built. Bryce won't get taller, but I'm sure he'll add 10-15 lbs of muscle before next season while retaining his quickness. I'm looking forward to seeing his arm talent... didn't get much of a chance in his limited appearances.
