Kind of makes you wonder about Flores and his staff. Minkah and Drake were both miserable there but have flourished since being traded.

I don’t remember any specific issues between Drake and the front office or coaching staff. Miami didn’t view him as a 3 down player and Arizona need RB help after several injuries, so it fit everyone’s agenda. Minkah was unhappy early in the year during the 2019 “tank”season and asked for a trade.

quote:

Symptoms of the deteriorating relationship between Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins had been evident over the last couple months, dating back to mid-August during training camp when Fitzpatrick and his mother publicly commented on how the 2018 11th overall pick was being utilized.

Minkah’s problem was with the scheme and his role, not the coaching staff though. Most of the news out of Miami this year has been extremely positive in regards to Flores. The players really seem to like the guy and he’s turned out to be a phenomenal hire so far.

I’m more questioning their ability to connect with players (specifically younger guys). A lot of coaches from the Belichick coaching tree seem to have that issue.

And don’t get me started on Chan Gailey

Many of you are overthinking this.

Watson is a player who is highly respected by teammates. Owner lied to him. He felt disrespected. Simple as that.

Watson fancies himself the Lebron James of the NFL.

And that isn't a compliment.

I would think it would take 3 first round picks plus Tua for Houston to do that trade. This year's plus '22 and '23. I wouldn't touch it.

Give Tua someone to pass the ball to, give him someone to block for him, give him a training camp, give him more than half a ROOKIE season, to start games, and we'll see what happens.

Hopefully none of the three unnamed players are any of his WRs that couldn't catch a cold naked in Antarctica.

Doesn't say much for Flores to have players "anonymously" rip their rookie QB to the press. Sounds like a great locker room he's got there.
