Show some class. We have no clue why he left.

I brought it to the board and don’t even remember myself but who is the kid that Brad Lester is training and will “probably” transfer to Auburn? And was that before or after Harsin?

Agree. I think alot of fans need to realize these are kids playing a game. I'm sure he has his reasons for entering the portal and they may be very personal. Could be family related we honestly don't know. I would hope people would send up a prayer for my child instead of jumping online with a hateful degrading remark.

Good luck to him. FSU has a full stable at RB. Arguably more depth there.
Jashaun Corbin - aTm transfer that totaled 1000 all purpose yards at aTm
LaDamian Webb - Opelika native that was the #3 JUCO RB
Lawrence Toafili - 4* recruit
Deonte Sheffield - 3* recruit that has started 4 games
Ja’Khai Douglas - 4* recruit
Treshaun Ward - 3* recruit

Could be a family situation. Isn't he from Florida?

Webb is in the portal.
Maybe we can pick him up, we need depth.
He went for 3000 yards at Beauregard his junior season.

Scratch that...
Webb has already transferred to Troy.

We'll be fine at RB. Auburn isn't the only place kids are transferring from, what with the transfer rule being waved, and 2020's normal four year career being stretched to five. Once Harsin see's whats in house he'll have plenty of time to fill the voids.
(IMO) It's a blessing in disguise they're leaving for the NFL now instead of after signing day.

The problem is going to be like what problems Pearl has in trying to get a transfer PG to play behind Cooper.
It's hard to recruit a guy JUST as a backup, unless they are will to be 2nd string.
Tank creates that same problem. Only role players or maybe a solid RB from a mid major that just wants to play in the SEC will come play for Auburn.
We will get a RB in the portal, just not sure how good or what strengths/weaknesses they will bring.

It’s not hard to replace the production that transferred out though, if we’re being honest. DJ, slow and no vision. Joiner, we don’t really know because he didn’t get many carries. Same for MAR. Out of those 3, I think MAR had the most promise.

Where it gets sketchy is if Tank gets hurt and having to rely on such a player as our #1.

Which is something I've always considered not just a flaw, but a injustice to the team as a whole. There are plenty of touches to go around. And not having fresh legs, a hot backup, and putting all you eggs in one basket seems a dumb way to coach. Sure it'd be hard to get/retain a great back of the same class (Freshman...Senior) however I still believe it's possible if spreading them out over class.

We can find a good back in the portal.
Kamara left Bama for Tennessee and Jalen Hurd was already established.

I don’t think that’s true. The RB position has turned into a by committee position largely. These guys know that it’s in their best interest to prolong their careers by limiting hits to the extent they can.
