I would definitely be happy with it. We better open up the check book then cause he will be expensive. Also better have a guy training under him cause after 2/3 years he will probably get another chance at HC.

Assuming we don't get Mason. The more I read on these two, the more I think they both would be solid hires.

One player that is not to happy about Walters leaving. Walters could have been forced out and he doesn't know that.

Look Drinkwitz have been very successful in his hiring of coaches. He got Mizzou to the point where many thought he was not any better and boom! he is now recruiting a lot better than Odom could in 4 years! He went 5-5 and best record of the newly hired HCs from last year. He has been HC for only 2 years now. One at Mizzou. He has already been very impressive with him coaching and recruiting ability. He didn't make any bad hire so far. Many of you wanted Walter gone. I am telling you he is Odom's hired and he was not the one to make the next step up to get Mizzou to be competitive in the SEC against top teams that have good offense. That is maybe why he wanted a changed to get someone he is more comfortable and can recruit better. Still a long way to go and I believe he will get it done once again for the future of Mizzou and himself. He must've felt it wasn't working against teams with top offense. This is good news since Drinkwitz hasn't failed to make a bad hire yet. That is why I am happy to see this happening now and not next year. This year was his evaluation year to see where things are and must've seen that the DC wasn't the right fit for him and Mizzou.
