I am curious is there a way to have a gif saved on my computer and post it in a message without having to past the address in the img markup?

If you are on your phone or computer, hold or right click picture, open in new tab, copy link.

You have to post a link whether its hosted or copied.

Nope. If it's saved locally on your computer, you have to upload it to an image hosting service, such as imgur, at the very least. TD only supports inline images when they're linked remotely. You can't upload it directly to TD/SEC Rant from your device and have them host it for you.

If it's a bookmarked URL, you can copy and paste that into the img markup box.
