Some kids just really love big stadiums I guess. No other reason to commit to a has-been laughingstock whose coach has one foot out the door

St Louis kids are fricking weird man. If I was Drink I’d be very tempted to just pull out of the city altogether and focus energy elsewhere

It’s not the kids. I’ll talk about the elephant in the room.

There’s a large contingent of St. Louis coaches who have their hands out to get their kid to commit. Pay to play.

Periodt. I said what I said.

Name them!
I bet they coach at LN and ESL according to you.

Ritter for sure does. If they have gotten caught having their RB changes numbers and play under a fake name when he is supposed to be suspended I can bet they are taking money.

No. I think Reed runs a pretty clean ship. I DGAF about ESL. Their players are typically overrated and ill-prepared academically and socially to succeed at the next level.

It worked out well in 2013. I still love STL, but it's REALLY time to move on.

Why do you think Drinkwitz was hired to fix the problem. Start winning games! Then keep trying if not work then go elsewhere for recruits. Odom couldn't get one good recruiting class and that is one reason he had to be fired. Look at Kansas! Wow! That is really bad. Missouri is a lot better than most and shouldn't have to struggled to get top recruits around the State of Missouri. Need to start winning and keep winning and be rank every year. That will do it. Odom couldn't get it done. Drinkwitz looks like the one that can get it done.

Reminds me of the old saw:

Well, first, you get a million dollars...

go back to the pinkel strategy. Lockdown MO outside of STL. If an STL kid is interested then recruit them but let them come to you instead of wasting time and energy.

then dominate the midwest and recruit tx/SEC country smartly.

Yea i agree, lockdown MO, try at STL kids, then focus on IL, IN, KS, and IA kids, and branch to TX and TN/KY. Thats all we would need.

Get lucky and land a FL kid now and again.

Drinkwitz is high on North Carolina,d South Carolina, and the surrounding areas. Since he been recruiting around there when he was a coach at North Carolina State and Appalachian State.

It would be a bonus to pull kids from the carolinas. We dont need to but if we get them, that helps.

Looks like offensive tackle Dylan Spencer has decided to enter the transfer portal. He was playing, but they said he became homesick. I hate to bash him, but dude was getting killed on the o-line.

We need some NC kids. NC produces a ton of high rated D1 talent. Its weird how much talent they turn out.
