Refs sucked today and made terrible calla on both sides.

Most mind boggling was the fumble Arkansas clearly recovered and the TD LSU didn’t get. Targeting vs Arkansas was suspect but so was a very dubious holding on a long LSU gain on 3rd down in the 3rd. LSU was driving to go ahead by 2 scores.

Hard to say who got hosed worst but you can’t just point to one side getting benefited.

there were bad calls that went both ways, our targeting call was worse than theirs IMO.

Probably that you are a dumbass that you need this explained to you. You beat us with the help of the refs and Covid. Congrats. Now move on like all the rest of us.

I thought I politely inquired as to the nature of these grievances. For my troubles, you reward me with name-calling. That’s a brilliant explanation. Thanks.

But what specific calls helped us beat you? I genuinely don’t know of any.

So, tell me about the time the Florida game was postponed because of a hurricane.

It was another game that had nothing to do with Alabama? Completely irrelevant but I do appreciate you making my point though

So no one has a lucid, articulate response?

All I’ve heard is “refs stole the game...”.

But how?

1. There was no 'targeting'.
2. We recovered the fumble, plain as day.

I didn't say they 'stole' the game. Who knows what the ultimate outcome would have been.
But they sure the frick hampered us bigly with those bullshite calls.

A polite troll is still a troll. I could easily say your wife politely told me my dick was bigger than yours but that is neither here nor there. Now back to the game. The refs sucked period end of story. If you don't think a clearly recovered fumble in the redzone wouldn't have made a difference then no one can explain it too you politely or not. You probably think Biden won fairly too right?? Again congrats on beating a Covid torn team with the help of Curles.

Thanks. I would say that the two targeting calls were similar - both forcible contact to the head or neck area on a defenseless player - and both legitimately resulted in ejections. You may not like the rule but it’s till the rule.

On the reviewed fumble play, Emery had the ball under his chest on the ground, albeit briefly. But dang this was in the first half!

I hardly think those two calls are worth any outrage. Y’all were screwed vs Auburn, but not today.

Officiating was god awful. Blown calls everywhere on both teams. They seriously should be fined.

This. The officiating was just bad. Horrible calls on both teams.

All of them. SPLSU is probably paying the refs with the same money they stole from the children’s hospital to pay their players.

Hey man. Get your facts straight...

It wasn’t a children’s hospital. Just a regular one.

Yep. On the fumble the ball was stripped out but luckily it fell right in front of Emery's face and he raked it back in. This is clearly what happened as #17 for arky was reaching under the chest of Emery to strip the ball out AFTER the whistle blew. Watch the replay in slow motion.

Yes, but which calls I’m particular did you find egregious?

You already know, dickcheese

I can tell you that I thought both holding calls were very soft and came on critical, first down making plays. That shaped the outcome of the game more than anything else.

Arkansas players were tackled to the ground in both instances

The targeting calls were close. They were similar, and they both resulted in ejections.

Is this a joke? LSU player lowered his head and went in like a missile while the Arkansas player crumpled up his own body and made contact using his side. It wasnt close, of course, you know that

quote:

The early review of the LSU fumble was ruled a fumble but no clear recovery. If you watched the play, our RB has the ball in his grasp on the ground and relented when the whistle blew.

Are you seriously claiming that the LSU player handed over the football because the whistle blew? Is this really the justification for the obvious screw job? Thats the dumbest explanation possible, congrats

What am I missing?

I dont know, the tripping call on the Arkansas RB where he clearly made contact after getting shoved to the ground. Tripping is a call you never see for incidental contact, unless of course.........

P.S. The review on the LSU TD was absolutely correct. The player must complete the catch. If the idiot wanrs to continue to roll on down to Fort Smith, he can, but he cant lose control of the ball until he stops his motion. If that and a couple of LSU offensive linemen tackling a couple of opponents is your evidence that the game was called bad both ways, you couldnt be more wrong.

100 percent correct analysis. Also missing 29 players didn’t help.

Paying the refs

Make up your mind. Do we have money or do we not have money? One day we’re paying off refs, the next we’re poor.

Bama and A$M need to get together on their troll game so they can at the very least have a more united front.
