I’m going to be so pissed if we finish like 2-1 with a win over UGA and Tanner considers making Bobo HC.

Sad day to hear
@CoachWMuschamp
and family are no longer with
@GamecockFB
....while some celebrate this, there are others who knew Will and the total package he brought to
@GamecocksOnline
. Thank you Will, Carol, Jackson and Whit! #forevertothee

Unfortunately Dawn that package failed to include winning fricking games. None of us added " nice guy" to the Indeed.com job requisite.

I will say that until this year I was on the Muschamp train. I, unlike a lot, liked the hire. I thought, and still think, that Muschamp is a great defensive coach. I think a lot of our defensive mishaps fall on TRob, as well as Muschamp. I really wanted him to do great things here. I thought he would come on with a chip on his shoulder and it would drive him to succeed.

This year my outlook changed. Unfortunately Muschamp, I still think he's a great dude and his players love him, is not HC material. He is not a good game time coach and worst of all, has made shitty hires for his assistants. He did not learn from his mistakes from Florida.

With that being said, I am glad his time is here is over. I will say that he left the cupboards much more stocked than Spurrier did.

I hope the next move is to fire Tanner, and for the love of God, do NOT promote Bobo to head coach after this season.

I do wish Muschamp and his family all the best. Even though his time here was not good, I do think he tried his best and had nothing but the best of intentions.

You seriously think he did his best? You think he did all he could to win here?

I think he did HIS best and what he thought was best. Unfortunately it was not nearly enough. His recruiting was very good, his development was trash, and his choice of offensive coordinators (jury is still out on Bobo, but he has his problems too) was atrocious. I think TRob is a garbage DC as well. With that being said, yes I think WM did his best.

Do I think he did all he could do to win here? Absolutely not, never said he did.

You have evidence to say otherwise? Or are you just mad as his results?

Seriously it is one thing to say Muschamp just is not the answer vs saying the guy just didn't try hard enough.....

Not to kick a man while he's down but Muschamp had two chances at two very good schools and dropped the ball at both of them. Its not easy being a HC, particularly in the SEC. He just was not up to the job.
