We just need a QB who can throw accurate passes. Our OL did a good job most of the night.

We’ve lost to two teams that will be top 5 after this week.

Those teams are Alabama and Florida. Florida is a team we should beat easily almost every year with the talent we bring in, and Alabama is a team we should be close with.

We were not competitive with either of them.

We have no QB. We’ll finish as a top 10 team. Again, not good enough, but we don’t suck.

If you aren't first, you're last.

This program needs a purge. Much like the Falcons, time to get all of the underachieving crap flushed out.

We do beat florida every year and every game that mattered has been close with Bama.

We don't have a QB and those two teams do. Our defense is good but it's hard to beat a good QB with good weapons. You have to outscore them..we don't have a QB

It's not the end of the world. Weird year and Newman screwed us. It will be okay. If we are in the same spot next year I will be worried.

This same thing has been said for the last 4 years, and we're regressing.

I understand this is an odd year, and without Covid Newman doesn’t transfer, but UGA should never be dependent on a transfer QB.

You sincerely think Newman transferred because of Covid?

Far out

That’s fine. But we had a QB transfer, and one leave early.

So Kirby went and got a QB.

Why not? If there is a transfer willing to come in that is an upgrade over current guys and gives the younger guys a year to mature whats the problem?

Worked for LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, etc

He went and got a QB, yet we're stuck starting fricking Stetson Bennett.

ETA: I'm done with Kirby. We need to rip the bandaid off and fire him after this season. He's an amazing recruiter and we have had good defenses before this year, but he hasn't seen the writing on the wall with modern football and I'm not sure he ever will. He has started Jake Fromm and Stetson Bennett in the biggest games of his career while his national title QB is currently playing against Rutgers.

You’ve had a rough day with the election and the game.

Maybe take a break for a second.

My thumbs would get tired from typing the FBS programs who are better at QB than we are. There are no excuses for that. We have the 13th best QB situation in the SEC and we aren't the worst only because Vanderbilt exists.

This is year 5 for Kirby. I'm sick of dogshit QB play. He needs to do better.

He used China flu as an excuse. There's no way that's why he actually left.

I’m not big on silver linings but the silver lining is that this game was still winnable despite the stars lining up for UF. We have the worst QB play just about ever and have been completely ravaged by injuries while the QB situation is the best it is ever going to be for UF. In spite of all of that, Webb dropped a gimme pick 6 and we could have easily had several more TD’s between the overthrows and lack of catches (mostly by landers). Unless something major changes, we are going to be UF’s daddy for a while.

Taken me a while to post on this game. I hate losing to UF more than anything but...

Who knows what would happen if we had better QB play. There were lots of big plays that could have been made.

Our D played ok considering all the injuries and loss of players due to more injuries and ejections.

Its a shitty year with COVID but maybe if we had LeCount in the mix and a QB who could hit an open player, I saw it would have been a completely different game.
